Being Auckland based we were nervous about dealing with a brokerage firm at a distant location. From our first contact with Steve Thomas at NZ Boat Sales these fears were put to rest. Nothing we asked of him was to much trouble, from allowing a Nelson based friend to view the boat (to make sure the photos were a true representation of the boat) prior to our committing to the expense of travelling to Nelson ourselves, to transporting our surveyor around on the day of survey, to doing the same for us at sea trials and at the time of final collection of vessel. At all times we found Steve and his team to be absolutely professional in their dealings with us, going well above our expectations in the little things that would have been a challenge with us not being local. As often happens with purchase of vessels there were several last minute issues, all were resolved by Steve to our satisfaction without any discussion.
