Description

From the moment you step onto the duckboard and into the fully enclosed cockpit, you realise that this isn’t just any Vindex 32. Blue Lagoon has a bright and airy saloon that’s spacious and very well laid out. The galley has had a facelift recently and looks clean and tidy, with the gas cooker and sink tucked away when not in use.

Forward and down two stairs is the head, with an electric toilet, a modern vanity, and a shower. Opposite is ample storage that is clean and dry. Forward is a good-sized double berth with an inner sprung mattress that’s super comfy.

Below decks is the famous slant 120 hp Perkins, with only 600 hours since MOH. Mated to a Borg Warner gearbox, Blue Lagoon sips just 8 L/hr at cruising speed, which is 8–10 knots. She has a top speed of 15 knots, which is plenty fast to get you home in a hurry.

The current owners have had Blue Lagoon for about five years, and at the time of purchase, they completed a $20,000 osmosis repair and also had various other parts replaced at that time. The owner is fastidious in his care and maintenance, and this shows when you look around the boat. They are now looking to step into a larger boat and are looking to pass this lovely boat on to her new caretakers.
