Swanhaven is a Roberts design & was built by boat builder Robert Swan as his personal boat. The canoe stern hull is solid GRP to the deck with foam-filled glass sides. Decking & cabin tops are made of timber, complemented with aluminium topping & railings. LOA is 16 metres.
Swanhaven has an extensive documented cruising history, including a trip to the South Pacific.
The vessel boasts a spacious interior with a full-sized galley & dining area, a pilot house, a forward cabin with four V-berths, and an aft cabin with a double bed. There is also a full-sized shower & toilet.
The engine has done 100 hours since being fully reconditioned & the gearbox was replaced at the same time. All paperwork is available to confirm this. Some standing rigging has been replaced, and a sheltered helm area has been added with lifting equipment for the tender.
A solar system with an inverter provides AC & DC power.
The current owner has comfortably lived aboard for the past five years but is now moving overseas.
A lot of the hard work has been done, including some interior modifications, but if you’re handy, you can add value with further cosmetic upgrades.
